Lead Scoring for Home Services: A Simple 0–100 Framework
January 5, 2026·4 min read
Lead scoring doesn't have to be complicated. Here's a dead-simple framework that works for any home services business.
The Score (0–100)
Assign points for each factor when a new lead comes in:
| Factor | Points |
|---|---|
| In your service zip code | +30 |
| Service type you offer | +20 |
| Emergency urgency | +30 |
| Urgent (within 24h) | +20 |
| Flexible schedule | +10 |
| Has phone number | +10 |
| Has email | +5 |
| Described the problem | +5 |
Total max: 100 points
What the Score Means
- 80–100 (Hot): Call immediately. These convert at 40%+.
- 60–79 (Warm): Call within 2 hours.
- 40–59 (Cool): Send email, follow up tomorrow.
- Below 40 (Cold): Automated nurture sequence only.
How to Apply This
You can do this manually in a spreadsheet, or use a tool like GAflow that scores every lead automatically when they submit your web form. Either way — just start scoring. The contractors who prioritize leads close more jobs with the same number of phone calls.
Ready to qualify leads automatically?
GAflow scores every lead 0–100 the moment they submit. Free plan includes 50 leads/month.
